The Votes Have Been Counted

Thank you, district residents, for coming out to vote yesterday in the Democratic and Republican primaries.

I was the only candidate who was seeking election in Region B, so the results are not surprising!

On the Democratic side I received 136 votes, vs. 7 write-ins.   And on the Republic ticket I received 433 votes, vs. 3 write-ins.   Results can be found here, and I have reproduced them below.

Primary Election Results May 19 2015

Thank you to the 579 residents who took the time to cast a ballot, and especially to the 569 who filled in the oval next to my name.  I appreciate your support for me, and for your commitment to our district’s educational mission.

If memory serves me correctly I have attended nine out of the 10 monthly board meetings since joining the board, missing only March 2015 due to a commitment at my job.
